I tried to install Parasite Eve 2 (PSX NTFS) on my SNES Classic but the game would boot and once you start a game you choose to quit the shooting range and then you have to options to leave the room to get out of the shooting range area.

However when you try going to the door of the room, it just turns all black. The only way I was able to get to the door (I even succeeded at getting passed the first two doors using that technique). I had to turn the Dynamic Recompiler option in Retroarch, which let me reach the door of the shooting range. Then I would simply re-enable the Dynamic Recompiler to be able to play without the lag. I was able to get passed the first door with that method and then I could get pass the second door without any problems.

The next door (the third one, the one when you're trying to leave the shooting range area) would also freeze the game as well but the music keeps playing normally. I tried the fix included in Retroarch, the PAL version, other NTSC versions but it simply won't work.

I asked MDFMKanik to see if he could help me out with the issue and maybe find a fix to my problem. He released his brand new core set and he released a newly optimized version of the rearmed core and asked me to give it a try. Even with his help and the newly optimized core I was never able to play Parasite Eve 2.

I told him it still didn't work and he told me that it might have been OpenGL related. That maybe there's simply no way to run it on my SNES Classic. I tried to run it on my Android phone using FPse and see if the game would freeze also (I also used te same image file) and had absolutely no problem playing the game. I tried to see which BIOS the emulator uses, it's configuration and see how I could use those to modify the rearmed core (since it's the only one I have for PlayStation games) and I have no idea how to create one (that works lol).

I did my very best to try to make the game playable but I'm not a programmer and I am very limited in programming which ultimately led to failures after failures. @MDFMKanik told me I probably tried way to hard for nothing as it might just be unplayable on the SNES Classic, but I'm a very very very very very stubborn guy and I was wondering if anyone found a fix to make it work?!?!? Is there another custom core I could try or I'll have to face the reality that I have been defeated already?!? Thanks for everything guys!
