Grateful for some assistance. I'm trying to install the drivers for Epson L300 printer in Ubuntu 13.10 64bit.
I've tried installing the driver through Synaptic, but the printer does not appear in the systemprinters. I remove the driver through Synaptic, then SystemTweakClean. I've also tried Systemprinters - the L300 is listed, and the driver for download is found, (Seiko etc). I then select 'install' and I'm taken to 'select printer' screen, which suggests a dot matrix printer.
Grateful for suggestions.
